The incumbent will accompany providers in patient clinic encounters to record accurate medical information including notes of communication, past medical records, laboratory results, etc. They may also support research efforts by entering data into project and medical record databases and assisting with documentation. The Medical Scribe will provide clinical assistance to faculty by performing on-site medical transcription. The goal is to provide the most effective and advanced management of ocular diseases and complex vision problems for the local, state, regional, national, and international communities.
